US ports to help restore maritime infrastructure in Odesa region

Experts from American ports in South Louisiana and New Orleans will provide assistance in the restoration of Ukraine's maritime infrastructure. According to a signed memorandum, cooperation is envisaged with the Odessa Sea Port.

According to the announcement, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the State Enterprise 'Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine' and the ports of South Louisiana and New Orleans. The agreement was signed by the General Director of PortSL, Paul Matthews, on the American side," - said Consul General Vitaliy Tarasiuk.

According to the agreed memorandum, cooperation is planned in areas such as technical planning, development, construction, administration, operation, and maintenance of port infrastructure. The agreement also includes cooperation with the Odessa Sea Port.

"This memorandum cements support for the Ukrainian people in defending their freedom and creates an alliance with our Ukrainian partners, focusing on our common mission - serving clients worldwide and creating economic prosperity for our communities," said Paul Matthews.
