Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a local resident has been charged with disseminating materials calling for violent change and the overthrow of the constitutional order of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This information was reported by the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, the suspect repeatedly posted anti-Ukrainian publications on his banned social media page. He called on Ukrainians to seize state power with the help of weapons and join Russia. The posts also expressed gratitude to the president of the aggressor state for conducting the so-called "special operation."
According to the expert examination, the disseminated materials contained public calls for the overthrow of the constitutional order of Ukraine.
During searches at the man's place of residence, computer equipment containing evidence of unlawful activity was seized.
Pre-trial investigation in the criminal case is being carried out by the investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Note: According to Article 62, Part 1 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict.
