In Vinnytsia region medical workers received equipment from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine

On May 27th, on the eve of Emergency Medicine Day, essential equipment was provided to the medical staff of the Regional Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine Center. These certificates for the equipment were presented by the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Borzov. The assistance package included monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, laptops, generators, and emergency response bags. Serhiy Borzov expressed his congratulations and appreciation to all the doctors, paramedics, drivers, and call center workers who contribute to the 24/7 emergency medical service, which plays a vital role in safeguarding people's health and lives. He emphasized the importance of their dedicated work and acknowledged their significant role in the ongoing conflict.

During the event, Borzov recalled the professionalism and coordination displayed by emergency medical professionals during the tragic events of July 14th, a day that marked the beginning of the conflict. He commended their efforts in evacuating the wounded and transporting military personnel to hospitals, stating that the Vinnytsia emergency medical teams were among the first to travel to occupied territories and were instrumental in saving lives.

In addition to their dedication to emergency medicine, the teams witnessed the consequences of the Russian aggression, including their missions to transport military personnel to hospitals. Borzov praised their professionalism and courage.

Previously, the largest shelter in the region, capable of accommodating around 500 people, was renovated in the Vinnytsia Regional Pirogov Hospital.
