In Poltava, gas supply to the Memorial Complex of Military Glory will be disconnected. On May 4, the Secretary of the Poltava City Council, Andriy Karpov, announced this decision and signed the corresponding order.
The decision to disconnect gas supply to the Memorial Complex of Military Glory in Poltava was made in order to save funds for the Poltava territorial community, as stated in Andriy Karpov's Telegram channel. Karpov mentioned, 'Over the year, more than 500,000 hryvnias worth of gas was being wasted. It's better to allocate these funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And we can replace the fire with a lighting installation.'
Previously, the Secretary of the City Council, Andriy Karpov, reported that as of May 1, the cost of gas for the Memorial Complex of Military Glory doubled. Instead of 16 hryvnias, it now costs almost 30 hryvnias per cubic meter of gas. This increase is due to the cancellation of preferential gas prices for municipal enterprises.
