The fallen Vinnytsia resident was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage"

The late Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Sichak from Vinnytsia Oblast was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd Degree, for his personal bravery and selfless actions in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and his loyalty to the military oath. This was announced on the Facebook page of Barska City Council.

Vitaliy Sichak was a resident of the village of Balky in the Barska city community of Zhmerynka district.

He served as a senior soldier and a grenadier in the second fireteam of the third rifle platoon of the third rifle company of military unit A-4038.

On August 20, 2022, Vitaliy Sichak was killed while carrying out a combat mission near the city of Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.

It is worth noting that on the morning of May 4, the occupation army of the Russian Federation attacked Odessa Oblast with Iranian combat drones "Shahed 136/131." Fifteen kamikaze drones were launched in Odessa Oblast, of which 12 were destroyed by air defense means and mobile fire groups. Three "Shahed" drones struck the dormitories of one of the educational institutions in Odessa. The Operational Command "South" also noted that the tails of the kamikaze drones had a "sacred" marking indicating the reason for the attack.
