A memorial plaque in honor of the fallen defender Ilya Negar was unveiled in the village of Bolgan, Studenianska community in Vinnytsia region. This information was reported on the Facebook page of the Tulchin district administration.
Ilya Negar was born on October 3, 1991, in the village of Bolgan. After completing school, he enrolled in the I. Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University. Starting from 2012, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the position of an aviation navigator in an aviation squadron of a military unit. He gained combat experience during his participation in the Joint Forces Operation in 2018 and 2020.
With the onset of the full-scale invasion, Ilya Negar served as a senior navigator in an aviation squadron within the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade named after I. Franko. As part of the crew, he completed 14 combat sorties, destroyed dozens of military vehicles, and hundreds of Russian military personnel, as mentioned in the announcement.
On March 25, 2022, Captain Ilya Negar was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.
On May 19, 2022, Major Ilya Negar, along with a lieutenant colonel, conducted their final flight in a Su-24M fighter jet near the city of Soledar in Donetsk region. The defender was posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III degree.
