Kropyvnytskyi rescuers went to Donetsk region

The experts from the pyrotechnic and humanitarian demining unit of the Special Purpose Emergency Response Detachment of the Kirovohrad Garrison of the State Emergency Service (SES) have been dispatched to Donetsk. This was reported by Kirovohrad Regional State Administration.

Sappers are responsible for demining power lines, gas pipelines, water supply systems, and other utilities. They also promptly respond to citizens' reports of explosive objects found in civil infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, and private plots, among other places.

The Kropyvnytskyi explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) experts headed to the permanent deployment location of the consolidated pyrotechnic detachment to replace their colleagues who are currently engaged in humanitarian demining on the Donetsk front.

"Our best, courageous, and unyielding heroes are now heading east of the country, where the liberated territories await them with challenging and responsible work. Tons of explosive metal remnants remain in the ground today, posing a danger to the civilian population. Therefore, our fighters have a huge mission to restore vital infrastructure in this war-torn land," as stated by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kirovohrad Region.
