In Kropyvnytskyi, the Alley, where the defenders of Ukraine are buried, is being reconstructed and decorated in the same style

In Kropyvnytskyi, they are reconstructing and arranging the Alleys of Honor for military burials in a unified style at the Rivnianskyi and Dalekoskhidnyi cemeteries. This information comes from the Deputy Mayor, Alexander Vergun.

According to him, all proposals for the arrangement of the area and monuments have been approved in coordination with the families of the fallen soldiers, as reported by Suspilne.

Work on the reconstruction project of the sectors for honorable military burials began last year, with the contracting company "Enerhoplius-Lux" handling the project.

"Both Alleys will be arranged in the same style. The memorial complex at the Dalekoskhidnyi cemetery, where military personnel are currently buried, will be identical to the complex at the Rivnianskyi cemetery. It will have an entrance group with the names of all the buried soldiers, with alleys, paths between graves, and a fence. On the opposite side, there will be a parking area, emerald thuja trees will be planted around the complex, benches and urns will be installed," said Alexander Vergun.

The cost of the project for the Dalekoskhidnyi cemetery is 25 million hryvnias, and for the Rivnianskyi cemetery, it is 3.1 million. The funds will be allocated from the city budget.

"Following a meeting with the families of the fallen soldiers, the project for the arrangement of the sectors will also include trash containers and water containers that can be used for watering the flowers on the graves. The most discussed issue was the discussion of grave monuments. Since monuments to soldiers who died at the beginning of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) have already been installed at the Rivnianskyi cemetery, it was decided that the rest of the monuments will be of the same form to unify their style. In addition to the monument, the arrangement of the burial sites will also include granite vases for flowers and a Ukrainian flag," added Alexander Vergun.

According to Alexander Vergun, since the full-scale invasion of Russian forces into Ukraine, there have been an additional 32 burials at the Rivnianskyi Cemetery in Kropyvnytskyi, in addition to those who had fallen since 2014. As of today, over 210 Ukrainian defenders are buried at the Dalekoskhidnyi cemetery.

A contract with the contractor for the second part of the Rivnianskyi cemetery has been signed. The arrangement of the Alleys of Honor at the Dalekoskhidnyi cemetery will begin after the completion of tender procedures, which is expected to take two to three weeks.
