On the night of June 9th, the air defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down rockets and a drone over the Dnipropetrovsk region. This information was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, citing the military from the "East" Air Command. They reported that two cruise missiles and one drone were shot down. According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the debris of the downed enemy targets fell in the Novomoskovsky district of the region. As a result of the impact, two private residential houses, a car, and a gas pipeline were damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack.
One day before this, Russian occupiers carried out five attacks on the Nikopol district. Marhanetska community and Nikopol were shelled with heavy artillery fire. As a result, a 30-year-old man was injured. He received necessary medical assistance and will continue outpatient treatment. The shelling damaged four five-story buildings, a car, power transmission lines, an administrative building, a warehouse, a store, and a hotel.
Earlier, the enemy fired heavy artillery at the Velykomikhailivka community in the Synelnykove district, causing damage to residential buildings and power lines.
The enemy also targeted Pavlohrad and Nikopol districts in Dnipropetrovsk region. For instance, an explosion occurred in the Mezhyritska community, where a two-story building, a private household, a car, garages, and utility structures were damaged. An 8-year-old boy was injured during the shelling and received medical assistance.
