A 21-year-old female collaborator from Kirovohrad region passed information about military facilities in Kirovohrad and Poltava regions

In Kirovohrad, a trial will take place for a 21-year-old woman from the Kirovohrad region who committed treason by providing information to Russian representatives about Ukrainian defense industry objects. This information was reported by the press service of the Kirovohrad Regional Prosecutor's Office. The 21-year-old perpetrator voluntarily cooperated with Russian Federation representatives. According to information gathered by law enforcement agencies, the woman was involved in collecting and transmitting data about military and critically important objects located in the Kirovohrad and Poltava regions to the aggressor state.

She was detained at the scene of the crime while photographing one of the local enterprises owned by the Ukrainian defense industry. In addition, the woman disseminated materials through social networks that justified Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine and supported the occupation of Ukrainian territories. Currently, the perpetrator is in custody at the Kropyvnytskyi detention center. The prosecutor's office suspects her of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 111 (State treason during a state of war) and Part 2 of Article 436-2 (Justification of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine). She could face up to 15 years of imprisonment for this offense.
