At the request of the prosecutors of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a court has imposed an arrest on the corporate rights and property of an agro-industrial enterprise valued at over 180 million hryvnias in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions. This property includes:
- Warehouse facilities with an area of 13,000 square meters.
- 16 vehicles.
- Funds in the company's bank accounts.
All this property was under the control of Vladimir Zotov, the Deputy Chairman of the Belgorod Regional Duma of the Russian Federation, who is suspected of financing the actions of a terrorist state. This information was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
Between March and April 2022, Zotov, a Russian citizen who owns the Russian agro-holding "Agro-Bilogor'ya," repeatedly organized the collection of food and military equipment for delivery to the occupation forces temporarily stationed in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
Zotov shared information about his assistance to the Russian army on his page on the Russian social network VKontakte and his Telegram channel.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, less than a year before the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Zotov formally withdrew from the co-founders of the Ukrainian agro-holding and "transferred" the business to his relatives. However, he maintained full control over the enterprise's activities, thereby directing funds to support the Russian army.
During searches at the office of the Ukrainian agro-holding under Zotov's control, as well as in the premises and vehicles of the director and the company's accountant, evidence of the defendant's criminal activities was discovered.
Currently, the Security Service is notifying Zotov of suspicion under Article 110-2 (financing actions aimed at changing the borders or state border of Ukraine in violation of the Constitution of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The question of declaring Zotov wanted is also being addressed.
