Large-scale training for special services started in Cherkasy region

In Cherkasy, a series of large-scale and regular training exercises have begun for special services, involving all units operating during emergencies throughout the region. Cadets are also participating in these exercises. This was announced by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Igor Taburets.

For the training, nighttime conditions were chosen. According to the regional head, darkness, rain, snow - these are the most extreme conditions to thoroughly test all skills, personnel readiness, and utilize a maximum of resources.

During the training, various situations are practiced, such as road accidents, clearing debris, building trenches for rescuing people from basements, and more.

"The situation in Uman once again emphasized how important teamwork and excellent coordination of all services are," noted Igor Taburets. "Only in this way can we respond in a timely, comprehensive manner, minimizing the consequences. We will only strengthen our work in this direction. I can say with absolute confidence that, together with all the security and defense forces of Cherkasy, we are fully prepared to act 24/7."

Training in this format in Cherkasy is planned to be conducted once every two months.

Recall that in Uman on April 28, around 4:30 a.m., during a massive Russian attack on Ukraine, a residential nine-story building was hit. As of 4:00 p.m. on April 29, there were reports of 23 casualties, including six children, due to a missile strike on the multi-story building, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
