On the morning of June 19, the Russian army launched an artillery strike on Nikopol. They also repeated the shelling of one of the villages in the Myrivska community during the night. This information was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
As a result of the shelling, a 73-year-old man was wounded and hospitalized. Sixteen private houses and nine outbuildings were damaged by projectiles, and two structures were completely destroyed.
The explosive shockwave caused extensive damage to the roofs, walls, windows, and fences of residential buildings. It also severed the gas pipeline and power lines.
Fortunately, there were no significant casualties in the Myrivska community.
Law enforcement officers in Dnipropetrovsk also shared photos of the destroyed homes of people who were living ordinary lives. Notably, in Dnipropetrovsk region, over thirty units of equipment were handed over to Ukrainian defenders. Military personnel received keys to various types of equipment, including cars, buggies, and quad bikes. Drones were also provided. After the equipment transfer, Chief of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, stated that all of this would help Ukrainian soldiers create hell for Russian occupiers. He also mentioned that among the representatives of the Defense Forces who would receive this equipment are assault troops, sky guards, paratroopers, scouts, marine infantry, and military medics.
