The Poltava Prayer Breakfast took place in the regional center. Representatives of Christian denominations, the public, and government officials participated in its organization, as reported by the Poltava Regional Administration.

The event was attended by the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration, Dmytro Lunin, the chairman of the regional council, Oleksandr Bilienky, the chairman of the organizing committee of the National Prayer Breakfast of Ukraine, Pavlo Ungurian, the Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Oleksiy Krasov, and a member of the organizing committee of the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. (USA), Dag Bjorli.

Participants of the event prayed for Ukraine, its defenders, for all the inhabitants of our country and Poltava region who, in these difficult times of war and trials, support each other in various ways.

"The Poltava Prayer Breakfast took place. Representatives of Christian denominations, the public, regional authorities, servicemen, relatives of fallen soldiers, and chaplains participated in the event. In these challenging times of war, strengthening faith and spiritual strength is crucial. Through a joint prayer, we united for Ukraine, for our defenders, and for all of us. We all share one common goal – the victory of Ukraine. Together, we will achieve it," said Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration.

The Poltava Prayer Breakfast is an informal gathering aimed at promoting understanding among politicians, spiritual leaders, entrepreneurs, and government officials and consolidating the multi-denominational Ukrainian society around a common system of universal and moral values.

The National Prayer Breakfast was first held in the United States in 1953 and has since become a long-standing tradition in many democratic countries worldwide, serving as a place for the spiritual unity of the nation. For over 60 years, prayer breakfasts have been held in the U.S. Congress, the European Parliament, Germany, Norway, and other countries around the world.
