Representatives of one of the local IT companies planted over three dozen Crimean pine trees on Monastery Island as part of the #Blooming_Dnipro campaign. This was announced by the press service of the Dnipro City Council.

More and more residents of Dnipro are joining the citywide #Blooming_Dnipro campaign, often doing so as groups. On a Saturday morning, one of the prominent local IT companies planted 35 Crimean pine trees on Monastery Island.

"Representatives of one of the major local IT companies approached us with a great initiative - to plant greenery. We gladly supported this good cause and collectively planted Crimean pine trees, which were purchased by the company's employees. They chose this location because many of them enjoy spending time here with their families, children, and friends. They want to make their favorite place even greener and more flourishing. It's heartwarming to see that many participants came with their children, who also took part in planting the pine trees. We are pleased to support eco-conscious initiatives from businesses," emphasized Kateryna Hryshyna, a representative of the Parks and Recreation Department of the Dnipro City Council.

Project manager at the IT company, Olena, shared: "This wonderful idea of tree planting belongs to our colleague Maxim. The team supported it and collected funds to purchase the pine trees. We are delighted that the weather was favorable, and we hope the trees will thrive." An IT company employee, Oleksiy, planted the pine trees along with his family.

"We want our hometown to become even greener. The more greenery we plant, the better. It's essential to instill this in children, to set an example for them so that they know from an early age that we should protect nature," he added.
