In Vinnytsia trams will resume running on three routes

In Vinnytsia, starting from June 19, passenger tram services are being resumed on several routes. These routes include tram No. 1, running from "Electric Networks" to the "Municipal Market," tram No. 3, from "Vyshenky" to "Electric Networks," and tram No. 5, from "Electric Networks" to "Barske Highway." This information was reported by the Vinnytsia City Council, citing a Telegram post by Vinnytsia Mayor Serhiy Morgunov.

Tram services on these routes were temporarily suspended due to the reconstruction of the intersection of Zodchykh, Pirogov, and Vasilenko streets. After the completion of the repair work, traffic was restored for cars and buses, and from June 19, tram services resumed.

Serhiy Morgunov added that during the reconstruction of the Zodchykh - Pirogov - Vasilenko intersection, new tram tracks were laid using the "velvet path" technology.

The reconstruction of the intersection began at the end of April this year. After the major repair work, the intersection's capacity will increase, and traffic congestion will be reduced.

Additionally, earlier, humanitarian aid was sent from the Vinnytsia region to the residents of Kherson.

Over 40 tons of essential equipment and items were delivered to help Kherson residents. This includes a mobile unit for water preparation in wartime and emergency situations, as well as pet food and other necessary items, which were handed over to the Kherson City Council and the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
