Residents of the Dnipro to deduct compensation for moving to an individual scorched area

Dnipro residents are being compensated up to 100,000 hryvnias for expenses related to transitioning to individual heating. This compensation was approved during the 38th regular session of the city council on June 21.

"If you have supporting documents and receipts, please contact the relevant commission and the Department of Housing. Once these authorities make their decisions, you'll be able to receive the compensation," said Dnipro Mayor Boris Filatov.

The maximum amount of compensation is 100,000 hryvnias, which in most cases fully covers people's expenses for transitioning to individual heating. This experience from Dnipro is being adopted by Ivano-Frankivsk as well, where they are planning to approve the mechanism and procedure for granting compensation of 50,000 hryvnias for replacing internal and external networks and installing individual heating systems. This is the first phase of this initiative, and they plan to address the issue for more than 100 buildings.

These compensations aim to help families make this transition and ease the financial burden for residents.
