In a road accident on In Poltava Oblast, a motorcyclist crashed into a road obstacle and was hospitalized

An accident occurred on June 17th, around 20:10, in the village of Rozsoshentsi, Poltava district of the Poltava region. A motorcyclist collided with a road obstacle on the intersection of the Kyiv-Kharkiv highway and sustained injuries. The preliminary investigation suggests that a man born in 1987, riding a "Honda" motorcycle, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the road obstacle. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized in critical condition in one of the medical facilities in Poltava.

The police have initiated a criminal investigation under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, "Violation of road safety or operation rules by a person driving a vehicle, causing moderate bodily harm to the victim." Police investigators are working to establish the causes and circumstances of the accident.
