In Kropyvnytskyi, the one-year anniversary of the establishment of the "YaMariupol" center to aid internally displaced persons was celebrated solemnly. This information was shared by the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.

On Architecta Pauchenka Street in front of the Transparent Office building, where the "YaMariupol" center is located, a considerable number of Mariupol residents and Kropyvnytskyi citizens gathered to celebrate the year of renewed hope and faith in victory with the people who lost their homes in Mariupol and found refuge in Kropyvnytskyi.

Over the past year, "YaMariupol" has become not only a center of assistance for internally displaced persons but also a hub for various events for both Mariupol residents and those displaced from other cities.

"I believe that Ukraine will be rebuilt, and we will regain all our territories. But until that happens, Kirovohrad Oblast will always be a comfortable home for those who need it. We are eager to make sure our Mariupol residents feel comfortable and receive comprehensive support and opportunities for development," said Kateryna Koltunova, Deputy Head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, addressing those present with welcoming words.

In turn, the head of the "YaMariupol" center, Dmytro Holubchenko, emphasized that the past year has been very fruitful due to constant cooperation with local authorities and other organizations.

"During this period, we tried to transform the Kropyvnytskyi 'YaMariupol' center into a small piece of our beloved Mariupol, and we hope we have succeeded. We sincerely thank all our friends and those who are not indifferent, who always help and support us," added Dmytro Holubchenko.

In total, over the past year, the "YaMariupol" center has distributed nearly 27,000 humanitarian aid packages, provided 654 legal consultations, more than 3,000 medical services, and 1,213 psychological support services, covering 81% of Mariupol residents' employment needs.
