Today, on May 29th, inclusive camps for children and adults have started operating at the Municipal Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children and Youth with Disabilities named after Raïsa Panasyuk. This information was reported by the Vinnytsia City Council.

The camp program is designed for various age groups and spans 5 days, offering different interactive activities to ensure that everyone has an interesting and comfortable time.

According to the center's director, Olena Chornobryvenko, this vacation is not only for relaxation among like-minded individuals but also for learning to lead an independent life without external assistance.

"The goal of the camp is socialization. The war has brought its own challenges, as during school camps, it is difficult for children with disabilities and caregivers to reach shelters during alarms. That's why this year, we decided to organize the camp at the 'Harmony' rehabilitation center. Still, there will also be interesting field trips," explained the center's director.

Participants in the camp can look forward to various activities, including physical exercises, games, quests, workshops, excursions on a tourist tram, leisure time on catamarans, and enjoying the outdoors. Currently, there are 50 registered participants in the camps. Among them is twelve-year-old Polina. The girl mentioned that she spends her summer vacation at the "Harmony" center every year.

"I like spending time at the camp, making postcards, or even baking cookies. What I remember the most is making burgers. They turned out to be very tasty," Polina recalled.

Polina's mother, Svitlana Filatova, mentioned that her son is participating in the camp for the first time, but she has noticed his positive attitude from the very beginning.

These inclusive summer camps will continue until July 14th.
