A drug dealer was waiting on the side of the road for a buyer when law enforcement officers apprehended her. This occurred on May 23rd on the highway near the village of Bulakhivka in Pavlohrad district. In the woman's vehicle, law enforcement discovered 17 blind bags containing a crystalline substance, blind bags of marijuana, a modified pistol, ammunition, and money.
This information was reported by the police of Dnipropetrovsk region.
Criminal search officers from the Pavlohrad district police department documented the distribution of narcotic substances. On the same day, a search was conducted at the suspect's place of residence, during which approximately 200 rounds of ammunition were discovered and seized. The seized items were sent for expert examination. The woman was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Under the procedural guidance of the Pavlohrad District Prosecutor's Office, the woman was served with a notice of suspicion of committing a crime as provided for in Part 2 of Article 307 (unlawful manufacture, production, acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer, or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The offender faces imprisonment for a term of 6 to 10 years with property confiscation.
Furthermore, a criminal investigation has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for the seizure of weapons and ammunition.
At present, the issue of applying preventive measures to the suspect is being resolved.
