In Vinnytsia, two men organized the illegal production of cigarettes

Two men in Mohyliv-Podilskyi, located in the Vinnytsia region, organized an illegal cigarette production and packaging operation. The underground workshop for tobacco product manufacturing was discovered during searches.

The men were producing counterfeit tobacco products under the brand names of well-known brands in Ukraine.

Law enforcement officers seized equipment for making and packaging non-filter cigarettes, a machine for attaching excise tax stamps, raw materials for tobacco product production, all estimated at 2.6 million hryvnias. They also found unregistered weapons and ammunition, mobile terminals, and passports of Russian citizens.

The investigative actions are currently ongoing.

In another incident in Odesa, counterfeit perfumes were uncovered. The individuals involved in this operation were selling fake perfumes with the names of global brands. They sold the perfumes in Odesa and other regions of Ukraine through a Telegram channel and a courier delivery service. Both wholesale and retail sales of these perfumes were conducted from points of sale at the industrial market "7th Kilometer."
