The multi-story building in Uman, which was hit by a Russian missile on April 28, is undergoing reconstruction. This was confirmed by the head of the regional military administration, Igor Taburets, in an interview with Susplilne.
Structural assessment has shown that the condition of the building allows for full restoration with the prior removal of damaged structures. The results of the assessment have been forwarded to the design organization to determine the scope of work.
Regarding the cost, it is anticipated to be in the range of 65-70 million based on preliminary estimates from the designers. The final figures will be determined after the project documentation is completed. Taburets emphasized the importance of passing the expertise process since it will determine whether the special structures of the first sector can be assembled.
