Residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region are invited to become helpers of veterans. After training, these assistants will help demobilized Ukrainian military personnel return to normal civilian life. They are especially encouraging veterans who already have experience with such integration and their families to join the project. This information was provided by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

Alexander Chumak, Acting Head of the Department for ATO Participants in the Dnipropetrovsk RSA, explained the specific tasks that these helpers will be involved in: "Veterans' helpers will accompany demobilized individuals. They will provide guidance on how to obtain social guarantees and services, benefits, undergo training, further education, and employment."

To become a veteran's helper, you need to submit an electronic application through the E-Veteran portal. To do this, you should have an educational document and an electronic signature. For family members of veterans, you need to provide a document confirming family ties. Detailed instructions can be found at the following link.

Those candidates who pass the competitive selection process will undergo training at the Center for Veteran Development. After that, they will be employed in special Service Offices that will operate in communities. This initiative for veteran's helpers was proposed by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is one of the four regions where this project will be implemented.

Earlier, we reported that in Kropyvnytskyi, food, medicines, and hygiene products are being delivered to members of vulnerable population groups.
