In Dnipropetrovsk region, lyceum principals receive keys to twelve new buses

Principals from various districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region have received keys to 12 new buses. These buses will now transport children in the Kryvyi Rih, Kamianske, and Dnipro districts of the region. The keys were handed over by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, as reported on the institution's website.

Serhii Lysak noted that the buses were purchased from domestic manufacturers using funds from the state and local budgets.

One of the buses was handed over to a lyceum located in the Kamianske district, where over a thousand students study.

The lyceum principal mentioned that children are transported to the educational institution from six surrounding villages. Every morning, the children have to travel quite long distances. If the school has several buses, the transportation will be faster, and the students will be able to sleep a little longer in the morning. This will make their learning experience easier.

One of the drivers, Mr. Yurii, who has been transporting children to school for fourteen years, inspected the new school bus. He mentioned that he hadn't seen the students for a long time due to the full-scale war. He sincerely hopes that starting from September, he will be able to drive them to school again.

This year, 26 buses were purchased for educational institutions in the Dnipropetrovsk region. These buses will be received by those lyceums and gymnasiums that will be able to accept students for in-person learning from September.
