In Dnipro, a man beat a man to death with a hammer

On July 7th, on Doblesna Street in the Novokodatsky district of Dnipro, the body of a man with significant injuries from a hammer was discovered. This information was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Law enforcement officers determined that on July 5th, a dispute had arisen between two men during which a 48-year-old man inflicted fatal injuries on the homeowner with a hammer.

The National Police detained the attacker under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. They also seized the hammer at the crime scene.

The 48-year-old man has been informed of the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 121 (intentional infliction of grave bodily harm resulting in death) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

For this crime, the man faces up to ten years of imprisonment, and the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.

Additionally, it's worth noting that in Vinnytsia, a fraudulent call center operating within a correctional facility was exposed. The criminals deceived their conversation partners by pretending to be bank security service employees and, after obtaining their personal information, transferred all their money from their accounts. The Vinnytsia Regional Police Department is investigating this case, and the offense is punishable by up to 8 years of imprisonment. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
