On July 11th, the third graduation of the Police Cadet Corps took place in Vinnytsia. This year, 103 boys and girls successfully completed their training. Over the course of three months, they underwent training at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Campus. The graduation of the cadets was reported on the website of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.
The unique educational project called the "Police Cadet Corps" was introduced in Vinnytsia in February 2021. The goal of the project is to prepare school graduates for admission to higher education institutions within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system. Throughout their training, the future police officers receive theoretical knowledge and improve their physical fitness.
Sergiy Borzov, the Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, congratulated the cadets on completing their training. He expressed his gratitude to the young men and women who have chosen the challenging profession of a police officer.
Ivan Ishchenko, the head of the police in the Vinnytsia region, added that all graduates have overcome a difficult path and made a responsible decision that will determine their future. He also promised that the entire police family will be waiting for the return of today's cadets after they complete their higher education.
Valeriy Sokurenko, the Rector of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, spoke to the graduates about the importance of security components during times of war. He emphasized that despite the wartime, the citizens of Ukraine expect the streets and squares of cities to be safe, peaceful, and cozy.
Each graduate received a recommendation letter for higher education institutions and a special badge.
The young men and women pledged, "I swear to serve the Ukrainian people!"
