This year, more than 500 candidates from the Poltava region have been selected and sent for training to military higher educational institutions. Additionally, over 100 young men and women will study in military colleges to become sergeants. This information was shared during a briefing at the official media center of the Poltava region by Vladyslav Lytovchenko, the Deputy Chief of the Poltava Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center.

Lytovchenko emphasized that secure conditions for training have been provided for cadets, taking into account the threat of missile attacks from Russian terrorists. The facilities are equipped with reliable shelters, the institutions are dispersed, and the cadets do not spend all their time at the same location.

At military universities, education is provided free of charge. Cadets also do not have to pay for equipment and clothing, food, or accommodation. After completing their education, each officer receives an appointment to a position, so they do not have to search for employment on their own. Furthermore, in military universities, one can study not only to become an artilleryman or a tank crew member but also to become a translator, lawyer, journalist, communications specialist, or financial expert.

Previously, we also reported that artists in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast organize concerts for military personnel who are in the region for treatment or rotation. They present a program called "Glory to Ukraine – Glory to All Heroes!" consisting of instrumental compositions and original performances. Soldiers are entertained with humor, demonstrations of "Cossack Duel," and displays of exercises with authentic Cossack weapons such as the saber, lance, sickle, and mace.
