On the night of July 11, Russian occupiers launched unmanned drones of the "Shahed-136" type towards southern Ukraine. From the Black Sea waters, the enemy directed several waves of attack drones. The air defense forces prevented the occupiers from targeting the grain terminal of one of the ports and destroyed 22 drones. Two drones hit an administrative building in the port area. This information was reported on the website of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
The debris from the downed drones caused a fire at two port terminals, including the grain terminal. The fires were promptly extinguished, and no critical damage was recorded. There were no casualties as a result of the attack.
It is worth noting that Russian terrorist forces once again launched heavy artillery strikes on the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region last night. The enemy fired about a dozen shells at the Marganetska community and Nikopol.
Earlier, we reported that the number of casualties from the rocket attack on Odessa, which occurred on June 9, had increased. On July 10, the Mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, announced that a young man born in 1999 had died in the hospital as a result of his injuries. Doctors fought for his life for a month, but the shrapnel wounds proved to be too severe.
As a result of this terrorist attack by the occupiers, four people were killed, and 25 others were injured, including a pregnant woman and two children.
