Odessa MP resigns from pro-Russian party

On July 13, a resolution on the premature termination of the powers of the People's Deputy of Ukraine from Odessa, Tetiana Mykhailivna Plachkova, was registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This information became known from the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Tetiana Plachkova was elected in 2019 as a representative of the banned pro-Russian political party "Opposition Platform - For Life," number 31 on the party list.

It is worth noting that in 2020, Plachkova traveled to Moscow as part of a delegation from the "Opposition Platform - For Life," led by Putin's godfather, Viktor Medvedchuk. Medvedchuk himself had a meeting with Putin, while other representatives of the "Opposition Platform - For Life" met with Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma.

As a result, the Office of the Prosecutor General opened a criminal investigation against the delegation of the "Opposition Platform - For Life" on charges of state treason.

On March 15, 2022, Tetiana left the pro-Russian faction "Opposition Platform - For Life." In May, she joined the newly formed parliamentary group "Ukraine's Restoration.
