Czech-Ukrainian business forum on reconstruction held in Ukraine

The Czech-Ukrainian Business Forum dedicated to reconstruction was held in Dnipropetrovsk region. Entrepreneurs from the Dnipropetrovsk region and over 30 Czech companies participated in the forum. This information was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration.

During the forum, Sergey Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, emphasized that the region is counting on cooperation in the fields of construction, energy, ecology, modern technologies, and medicine. He highlighted the establishment of rehabilitation centers in Dnipropetrovsk region for Ukrainian defenders, where they can receive both physical and psychological support.

However, according to Sergey Lysak, the region requires "donor" assistance and direct investments in these important projects.

The Czech delegation visiting Dnipropetrovsk region included representatives of companies involved in construction, industry, medical equipment manufacturing, IT sphere, and water purification.

Tomas Kopechny, the Government Commissioner for the Reconstruction of Ukraine from the Czech Republic, mentioned in his speech that Ukraine is a personally significant country for him, and Dnipropetrovsk region is his favorite among the country's regions. He emphasized that the Czech Republic is ready to help Ukraine in the reconstruction of the destroyed infrastructure already at present.

During the forum, participants had the opportunity to establish contacts, hold negotiations, and discuss further cooperation.

Milan Kashek, a representative of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry, summarized that many Czech businessmen are interested in starting joint projects with Ukrainians.
