The Security Service of Ukraine has announced suspicion to the admiral of the Russian fleet who gave the order to strike Vinnytsia with Kalibr cruise missiles on July 14, 2022. This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The SSU has gathered new evidence proving the involvement of the Commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Igor Osipov, in the shelling of the civilian population in Vinnytsia.

On July 14, 2022, Osipov ordered the shelling of the Ukrainian city with Kalibr missiles from a Russian warship based near Cape Fiolent in the Crimean Peninsula.
As a result of the enemy missile strike, 29 people were killed, including three children. Additionally, 154 people were injured to varying degrees.

Moreover, the Russian missiles destroyed 35 residential buildings, nearly 70 private vehicles, and public transportation vehicles.

Osipov has been informed of the suspicion under Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violations of the laws and customs of war combined with intentional homicide committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy).

Furthermore, the SSU previously announced suspicion to this same Russian terrorist for organizing systematic missile strikes from the Black Sea waters on densely populated areas in Ukraine.
