On the evening of July 21, Russian forces shelled residential areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery.
This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
Nikopol was among the places targeted by the artillery barrage. As a result of the Russian shelling, three people were injured.
A 57-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman were taken to a medical facility with shrapnel wounds. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.
Additionally, a 42-year-old resident of Nikopol was injured, but he did not require hospitalization and will be treated at home. Furthermore, the Russian artillery strikes damaged eight private houses, nine outbuildings, and an electrical transmission line.
During the night of July 22, the Russian occupying army once again shelled the city of Nikopol, targeting an industrial enterprise. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported.
In addition, the Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk region with an Iranian-made "Shahed 136/131" kamikaze drone. However, the defenders from the Air Command "South" managed to land the drone, thus preventing another act of terrorism from the Russian Federation.
