The Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office has approved and sent the indictment to court for the accusation of a resident of Luhansk city of committing a crime as stipulated in Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (engaging in economic activities in cooperation with an aggressor state, unlawful authorities established in a temporarily occupied territory).
As reported by the prosecutor's press service, the prosecution will argue in court that the resident of Luhansk region has been conducting economic activities in cooperation with an aggressor state and the unlawful authorities established in the temporarily occupied territory since March. The investigation has identified the accused as the head of a separate unit called the "Republican Center for Transport Organization" under the State Enterprise of Luhansk People's Republic "Lugansk Avtodor," which directly reports to the illegal authority created in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk city - the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of "LNR." She has organized and facilitated the conduct of economic activities, specifically the provision of paid services for bus passenger transportation and the filling of the "state" budget of "LNR" with funds received from such economic activities.
The suspect has been declared wanted, and efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend her.
Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and criminal punishment cannot be imposed until guilt is established in accordance with the law and by a court's verdict.
