Prior to the full-scale war, there were a total of 500 enterprises operating in the region. This information was provided by Natalia Revenko, the director of the regional department of economic development and trade.

One of the largest sectors in the region is the processing industry, which has seen an increase in production volumes. The increase is attributed to the work of the "Zoryanka" sewing factory, which has shifted its focus to producing coats, jackets, and other clothing items.

As of July 2023, the following industries are active in the region:
- 144 food industry enterprises
- 79 engineering enterprises

Out of these, 54 are located in Kropyvnytskyi, 21 in Oleksandriia, 6 in Svitlovodsk, and 1 each in Znamianka, Novomyrhorod, and Bobrynets. This relocation effort has contributed to the revitalization of local facilities and the creation of job opportunities for residents.

Among the relocated enterprises, 27 are in the industrial sector, 24 are involved in transportation and warehousing, postal and courier activities, temporary accommodation, professional scientific and technical activities, healthcare, and social assistance. Additionally, 16 are in the trade sector, 11 in information and telecommunications, and 9 are planning to start operations, requiring various positions such as salespeople, cooks, accountants, and support staff.

Overall, the revitalization of industrial enterprises and the relocation of businesses have played a crucial role in restoring economic activity in the Kirovohrad region.
