The Odessa region will help restore three villages in the Kherson region: UAH 5 million has already been allocated

Within the framework of the 'Shoulder-to-Shoulder' project, Odessa Oblast will assist in the recovery of three villages in Kherson Oblast. Odessa has already signed five agreements with the Velikoleksandrivska territorial community and 25 agreements with settlements within the Chornobaivska community. This information was reported by the Odessa Regional Military Administration.

This week, the restoration works have already begun in the villages of Kyselivka and Blahodatne within the Chornobaivska territorial community. Twelve and six builders are involved in the respective villages. In the village of Novodmytrivka, three workers have started preparatory work; however, due to challenging logistics, they are awaiting the delivery of construction materials.

The Odessa Regional Military Administration has transferred 5 million hryvnias to the Kherson Regional Military Administration as a subsidy. Out of this amount, 3.5 million will be allocated to the Chornobaivska community, and the remaining 1.5 million to the Velikoleksandrivska community. In total, an additional 15 million hryvnias from Odessa's budget are planned to be allocated to Kherson Oblast. It is reported that a total of 255 objects are scheduled for restoration in the mentioned settlements of Kherson Oblast.

Earlier, we reported that workers from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are helping in the reconstruction of settlements in Kherson Oblast, specifically Bobrovyi Kut and Olihyn. Additionally, soon they will begin work in the third settlement, Starosillia. Currently, the workers from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are rebuilding the homes destroyed by the enemy. They are installing windows and doors, constructing roofs, and restoring the facades in these dwellings.
