Dnipro region is 60% ready for the heating season, - OVA

On July 30th, an online meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine took place in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The congress was attended by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, heads of the Ukrainian government and parliament, relevant ministers, international partners, regional leaders, and mayors.

One of the key topics discussed was the preparation for the heating season, protection, and stable operation of critical infrastructure.

Sergiy Lysak, the head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported that in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 60% of facilities have already completed the necessary work for the upcoming heating season, and all plans are progressing according to schedule. Ensuring a stable supply of electricity, heating, and water supply is a top priority for the region.

Additionally, discussions revolved around cooperation with foreign partners, which could provide additional investments for Ukraine's budget. The congress also addressed international security guarantees for Ukraine, aiming to prevent future conflicts after the current war is resolved.
