In the Odessa region, border guards prevented the export of an Italian violin made by master Antonio Stradivari. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Border guards from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi unit, in collaboration with customs officers, thwarted the attempt to take out of the country a famous violin made by the Italian master Antonio Stradivari in 1730.

During border and customs control at the "Palanka-Mayaki-Udobne" checkpoint, a bag containing the musical instrument was found in the cabin of a regular bus. However, it was revealed that this world-renowned item allegedly had no owner. There were only two foreign drivers and a stewardess on board the vehicle. They explained that this particular violin, which presumably has historical or cultural value, was a transmission that was not picked up on Ukrainian territory.

Antonio Stradivari created nearly 2,500 unique instruments, but only about 650 of his creations have survived to our times. Therefore, the "queen of the orchestra" was confiscated and handed over for expert examination.
