On July 27, a nationwide event was held in Vinnytsia to support the missing in action soldiers, prisoners of war, military medics, and their families. The event was organized by the Coordinating Headquarters for Handling Prisoners of War.

"War is ongoing, and every day we suffer losses and destruction. But we will definitely prevail and rebuild everything. The most important thing is human life," said Yulia Priymak, the head of the Central Representation of the Coordinating Headquarters for Handling Prisoners of War, addressing the attendees. "We must bring everyone back home, and we will definitely do it!"

She expressed gratitude to every hero, defender, and protector for their courage and dedication to living and working.

Vyacheslav Sokoloviy, the head of the regional council, also participated in the event.

"Ukraine is fighting for every person in captivity. The words of the President of Ukraine, promising to bring all our citizens back home, are crucial for those working in this direction," stated Vyacheslav Sokoloviy. "The Central Representation of the Coordinating Headquarters for Handling Prisoners of War is located in Vinnytsia but operates in several regions. Since its first day of work, the Vinnytsia regional and city councils have provided all the necessary conditions for the Center's operation. The regional council has provided a centrally located building for the Center's use, free of charge."

He also mentioned that Vinnytsia Oblast has a unique Regional Target Program to support participants of armed conflicts and their families, Defenders. The program includes various support measures, including compensation for education.
