The head of the City Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkhul, provided an update on the health status of those affected by the rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih on July 31 during a briefing.

According to him, there are currently 11 people still in the hospitals out of the 82 who were initially injured, and their condition is of moderate severity. Just two days ago, there were three people in critical condition and one in extremely critical condition, meaning that medical professionals were able to save these individuals.

In total, 29 multi-story buildings and 79 private buildings were damaged in the attack. Currently, all significant debris from the destroyed buildings has been removed, with 280 tons of concrete dismantled and cleared. Municipal enterprises and management companies have completed the initial work on sealing windows in residential buildings. Residents of affected buildings and apartments have received necessary construction materials from the city's reserve. In just three days, nearly 1,800 units of various building materials have been distributed.

As of now, the city has received 527 applications for receiving material assistance. Additionally, specialists have helped process 152 applications for receiving state compensation through the "Diya" program.

Vilkhul emphasized that compensation comes from the state, while the city provides assistance from its own budget. The city has also assisted 104 people in restoring their documents. Work continues, with ten operational brigades and specialists accepting documents. Starting tomorrow, one of the offices, located in the 60th school, will continue its work. Affected individuals can also contact the district executive committee of the Central City District.

Financial aid will be provided based on the degree of damage assessed by special commissions. Expert examinations of buildings have already begun to determine which entrances need repairs and which should be demolished to assist people in buying new apartments. Additionally, all residents of the 4th destroyed entrance are receiving financial aid of 40,000 hryvnias each for their immediate needs.
