At night and in the morning, the enemy shelled Nikopol district

This night, the Nikopol region experienced 4 shelling incidents, with another one occurring in the morning. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported, but there was damage to property. This information was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The aggressor used heavy artillery and Grad rockets during the night. In Nikopol, 2 schools were damaged, and an administrative building was heavily damaged. Additionally, 12 private houses, 2 outbuildings, cars, a gas pipeline, and 4 power lines were affected.

In the Pokrovka community, the aggressor's shells damaged an energy facility.

Russian forces continued shelling Nikopol with heavy artillery in the morning. According to updated information, an energy facility, 14 private houses, 7 outbuildings, and cars were damaged. Several power lines, a gas pipeline, and a water pipeline were also affected. Rescuers continue to assess the situation.

According to the General Staff, during the past day, the enemy launched 7 rocket attacks and 42 airstrikes, conducting 66 shelling attacks with multiple launch rocket systems on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, and residential buildings and other infrastructure have been damaged.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery actions.
