Both personnel decisions - regarding dismissal and appointment - were made by Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday, August 8th.
By Order No. 142/2023-rp, Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Hennadiy Bambur from the position of head of Bolhrad District State Administration in Odesa Oblast. The reason cited is Bambur's submitted resignation letter.
By Order No. 145/2023-rp, the President appointed Mykhailo Sharafanenko as the head of Bolhrad District State Administration.
According to his biography published on the website of the Izmail District State Administration, Mykhailo Sharafanenko was born on November 15, 1981, in the village of Velykyi Dolnyk in the former Bilyayiv District. He graduated from Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University with a degree in psychology and from Odessa National Polytechnic University with a degree in Heat and Power Engineering.
His professional career began as a salesperson at the private enterprise "Tavria Plus," and in 2014, he became the store manager of the same private enterprise in Izmail. In 2015, Mykhailo Sharafanenko was appointed as the Deputy Director for Economic Affairs of the municipal enterprise "Heat Networks Izmailteplokomunenergo." In the same year, he was promoted to the position of Director of this municipal enterprise, which he held until April 2021.
In March 2021, after being appointed as the head of Izmail District State Administration, Mykhailo Sharafanenko became his first deputy. He continues to hold this position. In addition to his administrative roles, Mykhailo Sharafanenko is a deputy of the Izmail City Council of the VIII convocation.
