Representatives from the Vinnytsia Children's School of Arts proudly represented Vinnytsia at the international two-round competition "ART-Genius," which took place in Kyiv. The victory was achieved by Stanislav Plotko and his concertmaster and mother, Veronika Plotko. This achievement was reported by the Vinnytsia City Council.

Stanislav Plotko has been studying at the School of Arts for six years, and he has been in the brass instrument department for only a year. He earned a first-degree laureate diploma by performing Gabriel Faure's "Elegie" on the saxophone. His teacher, Artem Kondratyev, mentioned that Stanislav is a very diligent and talented student.

Apart from his musical pursuits, Stanislav is passionate about various activities, including swimming and IT technologies. However, his true passion lies in playing the saxophone. His dedication and desire to excel in everything he does make him a true role model for others.

In this competition, Veronika Plotko, a teacher in the piano department and Stanislav's mother, received a first prize diploma in the "estrada vocal" category for her cover of Alexander Ponomarev's song "Never."

During times of war, creativity takes on special significance and importance. Music has become a vital source of support and relaxation during these challenging times. As a piano teacher, Veronika Plotko tried to inspire her students to explore different genres and express their feelings through music.

Oleksandra Sadovska, the Deputy Director for Educational and Extracurricular Activities at the Vinnytsia Children's School of Arts, expressed her gratitude to the brave soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for providing the opportunity to study and represent their school and Vinnytsia on the international stage.
