Two residents of Dnipropetrovsk region were charged with collaboration

Residents of Kamianske and Novomoskovsk districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are suspected of collaborationist activities and justifying Russia's armed aggression.

According to the investigation, a native of the Vologda Oblast of Russia, who is a citizen of Ukraine and resides in Kamianske, posted messages and videos on a banned social network in which he denied Russia's armed aggression and the temporary occupation of part of Ukraine's territory.

A resident of the Novomoskovsk district, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, spread materials on social media from pro-Russian groups in which he justified the actions of Russian military.

During authorized searches at the suspects' residences, mobile phones and computer equipment with evidence of illegal activities were seized.

Under suspicion, according to Part 1 of Article 111-1 and Part 2 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, these individuals face up to five years of imprisonment.
