The Security Service of Ukraine arrested a supporter of "Russian world" who organised a channel for the departure of refugees abroad.

The Security Service of Ukraine has disrupted three new channels of illegal emigration from Ukraine by citizens of conscription age, including in the Odessa region. The agency's press service has provided details about this operation.

Criminal groups, involving personnel from medical institutions and local self-government bodies, were responsible for orchestrating these illegal activities. The criminals offered assistance to those evading the draft by facilitating illegal migration to neighboring European countries through forged documents or the use of so-called "green corridor" methods.

The cost of these services ranged from $2,500 to $5,000, varying based on the method and urgency of departure.

For instance, in the Odessa region, according to the investigation, suspects arranged for their clients to be transported abroad under the guise of accompanying individuals with disabilities to foreign medical institutions. The participants of this scheme provided transportation with drivers for cross-border trips.

However, after crossing the state border, the drivers and individuals with disabilities returned to Ukraine, while the draft evaders remained outside our country.

Furthermore, during the investigation, it was discovered that one of the organizers of these activities is an avid supporter of the "Russian world." She repeatedly expressed her pro-Kremlin views and posted approving comments about the war crimes of the Russian Federation on the banned social network "Odnoklassniki."

Members of another criminal group facilitated their clients' passage across the border through pre-prepared "forest trails" outside of official checkpoints.
