Children from Vinnytsia region to spend two weeks in Artek-Bukovel camp

29 children from Vinnytsia region will spend two weeks in the "Artek-Bukovel" children's health and recreation camp. These children come from foster families and family-type children's homes and have lost their homes in Donetsk and Kherson regions. Along with the children, foster parents and seven parent-guardians will also be able to go on vacation. They will stay in the camp together with the younger children. The older children, aged 7 to 17, will stay separately and participate in various activities organized in the camp.

The head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Sergiy Borzov, mentioned that vacation in the Carpathians for children from foster families and family-type children's homes has been organized by the Olena Zelenska Foundation since May 2023.

It's worth noting that some military personnel consider opening beaches in the Odessa region inappropriate, as they believe that no nets can fully protect against drifting mines, and the water in the sea has not yet cleared after the tragedy with the explosion of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Station earlier this year. The head of the United Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces in the South, Natalia Humeniuk, reminded that more than 30 mines have washed ashore in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions since the beginning of the year.
