On May 31, in most schools in Kropyvnytskyi, the academic year ended. A few more schools will have their final bells on June 1. The graduation took place at the "Maximum" lyceum.

Addressing the students, the school's director, Nadia Kravchenko, noted that in recent years, they had to study in conditions where it was impossible to fully enjoy live communication with friends and teachers. She expressed her hope that both students and teachers would soon rid themselves of the habit of living in wartime conditions after Ukraine's victory.

She emphasized that the tradition of constantly supporting each other, inspiring those who have lost hope, and the desire to learn, set clear goals and achieve them would remain with them forever.

This year, the city's children's parliament in Kropyvnytskyi suggested that students, parents, and teachers participate in a patriotic action called "United in the Center of Ukraine: Drones for Victory – Flowers after Victory." As part of this initiative, they encouraged not buying flowers for the traditional last day of school celebrations but instead directing the saved money towards purchasing drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This could be done by contributing money to charity boxes during graduation ceremonies or making direct donations to the Smile Foundation's account. All the funds collected through this initiative would be used to purchase necessary equipment for the military.

Thus, the students' last day of school was celebrated in a patriotic and meaningful way, supporting the country's defense forces.
