A multi-storey building in Uman, partially destroyed by a Russian missile, is to be restored

The multi-storey building in Uman, hit by a Russian missile on April 28th, is set to undergo reconstruction. This information was provided by Igor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

On April 12th, the chief of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration held a meeting in a broad format with all relevant services. As of today, everyone who needed housing has been accommodated in social and private hotels. All applications for financial assistance have been processed.

Furthermore, the head of the region reported that the results of the instrumental examination indicate that the structural condition allows for a complete restoration with the prior removal of damaged structures. They expect a full report on the building's assessment by June 15th.

At the moment, the results of the instrumental examination have been provided to the design organization to determine the scope of project work. The next steps will involve the preparation of project-cost documentation, expert examination, and a tender.

Igor Taburets stated that they will try to go through all these stages as quickly as possible.

In addition, the replacement of windows is ongoing in the remaining second entrance and in neighboring buildings damaged by the explosive wave. Thanks to the charitable organization Global Empowerment Mission, 940 windows have already been installed.
