On June 25, a mini-football championship called #RP in memory of fans who died in the fight for Ukraine's independence against Russian occupiers took place in Kryvyi Rih. This event was organized by the Football Club "Kryvbas" and the ultras of the club. Twenty teams participated in the tournament, playing two halves of ten minutes each. The tournament was a charity event, and all participants made contributions to a collection fund.
The tournament was opened by the vice president of FC "Kryvbas," the main team's footballers, and a representative of the ultras. The players emphasized the importance of the competition, which underscores their unwavering determination in the fight against the enemy. After the opening ceremony, the matches began.
The participants included representatives from fan movements, students, professionals from various fields, and the "Kryvbas" Media team. The matches were played fairly under the supervision of referees.
In the end, the teams "Sparta" and "Coaches of the Kryvbas Academy" met in the final, where "Sparta" won in a penalty shootout with a score of 5:4.
The tournament managed to raise 126,000 hryvnias, which were handed over to the ultras to support the defense of Ukraine.
During the award ceremony, all teams received commemorative awards, and the winners were awarded medals. FC "Kryvbas" presented the symbolic award to "Sparta" for first place.
