On June 28th, on Sobornyi Square near the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Poltava, volunteers from the "Poltava Battalion of the Concerned" organized a series of events in celebration of Constitution Day, during which they collected funds for Ukrainian defenders.

The event included an exhibition of works by ethno-photographer Anna Senik titled "Traditions of Poltava: Living Images." The exhibition was opened by a children's folk singing group from the "Dominus" vocal and choral studio.

Volunteers conducted masterclasses on preparing traditional Ukrainian dishes, including a masterclass on making kachana porridge. Ethno-themed activities awaited the children.

A Forum Theater presentation titled "Without a Shirt" was also held, prepared by internally displaced persons from the war-torn cities of Ukraine. Participants shared their emotions through moving monologues about their experiences.

The event also included three tours with the theme "Stairs to Heaven." The first tour was led by Metropolitan Poltava and Kremenchuk, while the next two were guided by local Poltava tour guides. The tours took place at the Holy Assumption Cathedral and the bell tower of the cathedral complex. Metropolitan Fedir provided insight into the history of the Holy Assumption Cathedral and shared interesting facts about the cathedral's iconostasis, one of the largest in Ukraine, and the only one in the country with the national coat of arms carved into it.

In total, volunteers managed to collect 41,850 UAH to purchase two "Starlink" systems for Ukrainian defenders.
